actually i have 2. a 9mm makarov{ hence the name boris} and a S&W model 10 .38 Special. i really need a AR-7.... both of these calibers are proven manstoppers and a well placed shot from .38 will take down a deer. anyway, both can keep the " soup pot" full, ol' boris likes to eat, ya know

Multiple weapons for diffrent situations.

AR-7, if you have not handled one, you might want to. They are not that good. The three I had were junk, unreliable (lots of broken parts), not accurate, bad cheek weld for sight picture.
