Survivorman- Plane Crash
Even experienced bush pilots have found Temagami region of northern Ontario deadly, and this time, it is up to Les Stroud to demonstrate that surviving a plane crash in this bitter, sub-zero environment is possible. Stroud’s only supplies are the broken-down plane, a wool blanket, an ax, and a survival saw (to test out). To make the situation more real, he plans to survive with his left arm immobilized, as if broken in the crash.
Survivorman- Canyonlands
The red rock Canyonlands of Utah- the home of Butch Cassidy, mountain lions, extreme temperatures, and, for seven days, Les Stroud, who with nothing but a broken-down bicycle, his multitool, and a couple corn chips demonstrates how to survive alone in this desolate environment.
Survivorman- Lost at Sea
Survivorman’s Les Stroud takes more precautions than usual for his “lost at sea” adventure off the coast of Belize. He is dropped many miles from the coast by his safety crew, which will shadow him throughout the trip to ensure he really doesn’t become lost at sea.

Les Stroud stands blindfolded on a sandbar deep in the swamp of Georgia, where “Three Rivers” Charlie has left him to survive on his own for seven days with 55 pounds of camera gear, some everyday items, and his Swiss army knife.
Survivorman- Costa Rican Jungle
A paradise in any other situation, the beaches and jungle of Costa Rica prove to be one of the most frustrating and strenuous environments Survivorman’s Les Stroud has had to survive. As he watches his kayak drift off to sea, the heat and humidity have already begun to take effect. Stroud’s first and most important task is to find a source of fresh water.
Survivorman- Canadian Arctic
Closer to the North Pole than the Arctic Circle, Les Stroud is left stranded in the middle of the Canadian Arctic with the sole goal of surviving seven days. He has a broken-down snowmobile, a seal hook, a caribou bone knife, a kudlik (soapstone dish to be used as a seal oil lamp), seal blubber, a gun (required by law for protection against polar bears, but he cannot use for hunting), and some raw seal meat. On top of all this, he has laryngitis.
Survivorman- Rocky Mountains
Standing 7,000 feet above sea level in below-freezing temperatures on the summit of a mountain in British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains, Les Stroud is already overcome by the biting wind, freezing rain, and high altitude of the environment he must survive in for the next seven days.
Survivorman- Canadas Boreal Forest
Winter is only weeks away when the Survivorman crew leaves host Les Stroud soaking wet and stranded by the side of a river in northern Canada’s boreal forest. With a single match, a knife, a bit of jerky, and a handful of cashews, Stroud must find his way back to civilization or a rescue crew will be sent out to find him.
